Tanvir Tareq and Raudiah team up for ‘Chokh Jure Kotha’

National Award-winning composer Tanvir Tareq's new single, "Chokh Jure Kotha", is out now on his YouTube channel, Sounds of Tanvir. Penned by noted writer and entertainment journalist Zahid Akbar and composed by Tareq, the duet song is voiced by the composer himself, alongside Raudiah, daughter of celebrated musician Ashiquzzaman Tulu, who currently resides in Canada. The song is set to be released in two solo versions as well.

 "Ashiquzzaman Tulu has been a guiding light for me. He loved the song when I first sent him the promo," Tareq shares.

Zahid Akbar has penned a few songs in the last two years. "I can never turn Tanvir away as he is my friend and confidante," he shares. "I enjoyed this song not just as its lyricist, but also as a music enthusiast." Akbar and Tareq previously teamed up for the song, "Chaader Shohore" nearly six years ago.

Raudiah was approached for "Chokh Jure Kotha" during her visit to Bangladesh last year. "It is a very soothing song. I recorded it after a lot of practice, and I hope that people enjoy it," she shares.
