Tareen upbeat about the future

Versatile actress Tareen is busy shooting TV serials. In “Lamp post”  written and directed by Sagar Jahan; “Amader Hatkhola” written by Brindabon Das and “ Google Shobjaney” written by Prasun Rahman and directed by Himel Ashraf  she dons the role of Ava, Meherjan and Shiuli respectively. Actors Mosharraf Karim, AKM Hasan, Saju Khadem, Arfan and Salauddin Lavloo play opposite her in the serials. Shooting is currently taking place across different locations in the country.

“Nowadays TV serials have gained popularity as short TV plays and telefilms are seen less frequently--- and it has become easy for me to choose my assignments. The scripts of all three plays are very interesting and have a natural flow which allows me to work with ease," says Tareen.

Besides her busy schedule, Tareen, vying for the post of vice president is upbeat about the election of TV actors and artistes scheduled to be held today.  An active member from its inception and associated with acting for three decades Tareen hopes to continue to work for the welfare of the association.
