Nrityanchal's 'Meera' to be staged at BSA today

The dance drama, Meera, will be staged today at the National Theater Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) at 7 pm. It is produced by Nrityanchal.

The dance drama, Meera, will be staged today at the National Theater Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) at 7 pm.  It is produced by Nrityanchal.

Directed by renowned Indian choreographer Sukalyan Bhattacharya, the dance drama is based on Meera Bai's life. The music director of the production is Snehasish Mazumder.

Kajol Ibrahim will essay the role of Meera, while Shamim Ara Nipa and Sukalyan Bhattacharya will play the roles of Radha and Krishna respectively. Shibli Mohammad will play the roles of Ayan Ghosh and Shamrat Akbar. Around 50 artistes of Nrityanchal will feature in the dance drama.
