Theatre troupe Padatik Natya Sangsad (TSC) staged their latest production "Kaal Ratri" at Nilima Ibrahim auditorium of Bangladesh Mahila Samiti on March 5 afternoon. The play was staged as part of the ongoing Bhanga Gora Natyatsob.

The play has been adapted by Dr. Tanvir Ahmed Sidney, based on Lamisa Shirin Hossain's story "Lone Survivor".

The story encircles the night of March 25, 1971 when the Pakistani military killed thousands of innocent Bangladeshis. Through stories and her encounter with a wounded Freedom Fighter, the girl learns about the war and its sheer horror.

Sakhawat Hossain Shimul, Sanjida Parveen, Mohammad Imran Khan, Ikramul Islam, Jinia Azad, Tasmi Chowdhury and Syeda Shamsi Ara Sayeka form the cast of "Kaal Ratri", among others.
