Afzal Hossain and Piya Bipasha: Twin birthdays

Celebrated actor Afzal Hossain, and model-actress Piya Bipasha have teamed up for a new TV play to be released during Eid ul Azha. However, the artistes were unaware of one quirky fact they had in common; both had the same birthdays. The actors have low key birthday plans: to spend the day in quietude. Conversely Afzal Hossain will appear as a guest on a programme aired by Channel i titled “Tarokakothon Presented By Universal Food Limited,” where he will share his views on birthdays and have his loved ones wish him over the phone. Produced by Ananya Ruma, the show's host is Dilruba Shathi. On his special day, the actor said, “I usually do not even remember when my birthdays are. My friends and loved ones usually take the trouble to wish me and make the day as special as it can be. I try to prioritise my family more on this day.”

Piya Bipasha intends to spend her birthday with family. The actor commented, “The older I get the less interested I become in birthdays. All I want are prayers from my well wishers. Also, after discovering that Afzal sir and I have the same birthdays, I have been filled with much happiness. I convey my birthday wishes and love to him.”

Afzal Hossain and Bipasha worked alongside each other for the first time in Topu Khan's “Putul Putul.”
