“Average Aslam” on Banglavision

“Average Aslam,” a six-episode TV play will air from the first day of Eid until the sixth day, on Banglavision at 6:25pm. Shagor Jahan has directed and scripted the play. The cast includes Mosharraf Karim, Golam Farida Chhanda, Faruk Ahmed, Shaju Khadem, Munira Mithu and Marjuk Russel.

The story outlines the lives of two families living in old Dhaka. Aslam is the youngest member of his family, and hates being called “average”. Aslam does not get along with the daughters of his neighbours, Maria and Paria, and often gets into arguments with them. The sisters' older brother, Bahar, wants to marry Aslam's cousin Munmun. Aslam puts up a strong opposition to the match. The plot then takes an emotional turn.
