Bhabna stayed on a 'Char' for four days

Popular face on the small screen, Ashna Habib Bhabna has a tight schedule ahead of Eid. A few of her one-hour dramas, a six-episode play and one tele-film will be aired on different private TV channels this time on the occasion.

Under the direction of Animesh Aich, the tele-film “Mayaboti” was shot on a char on the river Padma.

“I have played the title role in the tele-film. I had to stay on the char for four days for its shoot. It  has a different plot altogether and I am sure  it will appeal to the audience,” the actress told The Daily Star.

Bhabna has worked with Chanchal Chowdhury in the six-episode play “Chotolok” directed by Masud Sezan. She plays the role of an underprivileged girl suffering from cancer. She will soon shoot for another six-episode series named “Japani Visa”.

Recently, she wrapped up shooting for one-hour Eid play “Ghuddi”, directed by Imraul Rafat. She plays the role of an old town resident, fluent in the dialect of Puran Dhaka.

Apart from this, the actress completed shooting for “Life is Colourful” with Mosharraf Karim, by director Sagar Zahan and “Bhuboner Honeymoon” and “Hotel Bilash Bahul” under the direction of Animesh Aich. The plays were shot in Cox's Bazar. Mosharraf Karim and Shazu Khadem are her co-artists in the two plays.

Besides, she will shoot two more Eid plays directed by Nuzhat Alvi, under the production of SA TV.

 On Eid shopping, she said “I'm yet to go shopping due to a hectic shooting schedule. A few days ago, I went to Kolkata and shopped there but I plan to do some more shopping on chand raat. I love shopping overnight before Eid.”

“During shooting, I take iftar on set. On rare occasions, I eat sehri out at a restaurant,” she disclosed.
