Channel i steps into 17 today

Channel i, one of the leading satellite television channels in the country, steps into 17 today. Marking its 17th anniversary, Channel i will air special programmes on October 1. The day will begin with a special episode of “Gaaney Gaaney Sokal Shuru”. Aside from airing daylong programmes, the channel will host a live programme at its premises from 10:30am to 6pm. The event will feature music, dance, dance-drama and recitations. Special television play, Humayun Ahmed's “Ayomoy” will air tonight at 7:50pm followed by the third episode of “Prokriti O Jibon”.
