Konal in TV play “Boka kheye Bogra-e"

Singer Konal makes her acting debut in a TV play titled “Boka kheye Bogra-e.” Directed by noted actor and director Afzal Hossain, the script is based on the “Chhoto Kaku” series written by Faridur Reza Sagar. Previously, Konal appeared in a guest role for the movie “Laltip.”
Asked about her foray into acting the singer said, “Afzal Hossain had decided to direct a TV play based on the “Chhoto Kaku” series, and to cast me in it. I consider Faridur Reza Sagar and Afzal Hossain as my mentors, and I could not turn down such a prestigious offer.”
Filming is largely going to be held Bogra, with some scenes shot in Dhaka. The eight-episode TV play will have Konal play the role of Ruma, who studies overseas. Her father is tragically murdered. She decides to resolve the case and various developments unfold as the story progresses.
