Lindsay Lohan lands first big TV role

Lindsay Lohan was once one of the biggest names in showbiz, but she hasn't done much in recent years. Now, she's poised to make a comeback thanks to a brand new role. Lohan, whose biggest claims to fame come from the big screen, has signed on for a key role in the second season of new British comedy “Sick Note.”
“Sick Note” follows the life of Daniel Glass, who spends his days in a terrible insurance job and remains stuck in an unhappy relationship, and he's not at all helped by the attentions of his boss. When Daniel is wrongly diagnosed with a deadly disease, he covers up the misdiagnosis and begins lying to everybody about his health. Lindsay Lohan will play Katerina West, the daughter of Daniel's boss Kenny West.
Rupert Grint -- best known for his role as Ron Weasley in “Harry Potter”-- stars as Daniel Glass. Don Johnson is on board as Kenny West, and Nick Frost plays Daniel's doctor Ian Glennis.
