Mafuz directs Eid TV play

Actor Mahfuz Ahmed has been known as a TV director for a long time, and for this upcoming Eid, he is directing a six-episode min-series. Popular actor Mosharraf Karim will be in the lead, while Richi Solaiman and AKM Hasan will also play important roles.

The series, which has a working title of “Baaper Beta”, was shot recently in Kaliganj. “Eid plays get a much higher viewership, and so I have made no compromises. I hope it becomes a hit,” Mahfuz told The Daily Star.

Mosharraf Karim, meanwhile said “Mahfuz is equally successful as an actor and director. It was a pleasant experience to work with him.”

Mahfuz meanwhile informed that he will soon begin filming for another TV play to be aired this Eid.
