Mimi-Mahfuz, a decade later

Mahfuz Ahmed and Afsana Mimi are both dearly loved television personalities, and have been since the 90's when they had both began their careers.

They have also both recently taken up direction, especially Mimi who is now busier being a director than an actor. Mahfuz, on the other hand, gives direction while still acting.

The duo has been on-screen together many times in the past. Now, after a decade, they are going to be in another TV play together called “Dorjar Opar”, directed by Arif Khan and written by Badrul Anam Saud. The shooting for the play began yesterday in Uttara. Arif Khan informed that the drama is an Eid special.

About the play, Mahfuz said, “The story is a good one. And then of course, Arif Khan is a good director. And the best thing is being back on-screen with Mimi. It's been at least a decade!” Mimi informed that they had both last been on-screen together under Arif Khan's direction. Actor Raunak Hasan will also be a part of the cast.
