National Film Award-winning actress Purnima may have been a no-show last Eid following a short hiatus in the USA, but the artiste has a number of ventures lined up for Eid-ul Azha. For the second time, the actress is pairing up with Nayeem in a play scripted and directed by SA Haque Alik, titled “Hotath Prem Onek Bhalobasha”.

Cast as a character named Rohoshshyo, shooting for the play commenced last Thursday. “I have previously worked with the director in films, as well as TV plays. Of all projects I have been involved in during my career, I am most proud of my work in 'Hridoyer Kotha',” says Purnima.

Nayeem, who will be seen in the narrative as Ratul, said, “Aside from an impressive plot, I am sure the play will be effortlessly executed with Purnima's involvement alone. While working with her, I am constantly taken aback by her skills, which inspires me to outdo my own performances with every take.”

“Hotath Prem Onek Bhalobasha” will be aired on the third day of Eid-ul Azha festivities at 8pm on Asian TV.

Additionally, Purnima will wrap up filming for “Portrait” today, a tele-film helmed by Maksudur Rahman Bishol. She will also be featured in tele-films and plays directed by Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, Tania Ahmed and Shakhawat. Actor Nayeem has recently began filming for a play directed by Shumon Anwar, which is also slated for release during Eid.
