No birthday party for Mosharraf Karim

With Eid festivities just around the corner, filming units are clamouring to meet deadlines, and actors barely have any breathing room as they flit from set to set. Mosharraf Karim is one of the busiest actors in the industry, and today marks the actor's birthday. But as luck would have it, the special occasion will go by barely acknowledged amid tight shooting schedules.
On his birthday, the actor and his wife will start an early day at the sets of the Sagar Jahan-helmed “Average Aslam”. The popular series has been running for a few years, with each new episode being released every Eid. With Mosharraf Karim in the starring role, this year's episode is titled “Married Life-e Average Aslam.”
“Honestly, for the last few years my birthdays have gone by quietly as I was always too busy on set. We do have small celebrations with the filming unit from time to time, which I always look forward to as I love my work,” said the actor regarding plans for the big day.
Concerning the play, the artiste added, “Having donned many characters over the years, I tend to be called out by my character names whenever I am out and about. Average Aslam is one of them, and that is testament to the show's popularity.”
Eid television shows have become synonymous with Karim's appearance, who will appear in a plethora of roles during this year's festival. The actor recently returned from Malaysia which provided the setting for three plays directed by Shamim Zaman.
