“Parampara” airs 100th episode

Aruna Biswas, although best known for her film roles, has been acting and directing for the small screen for quite some time now. The actor-director is currently sharing screen space two other seasoned artistes, Tamalika Karmaker and Adnan Faruk Hillol, in the drama series “Parampara”. Directed by Al Hubair Ucchal, written by Masud Hasan along with the episode directors Suvra Ahmed and Rajibul Ehsan, the play successfully aired its hundredth episode yesterday.

Talking about the play, Aruna shared, “In terms of storyline 'Parampara' has one of my favourites. Plus my co-actors Tamalika and Hillol are both spectacular and I thoroughly enjoy working with them.'

Congratulating the makers and co-stars, Tamalika said, “I have received various positive reviews of the play and working with Aruna didi has been an experience of a lifetime.”

Hillol added, “My role in the play is different and fresh and the reviews are affirmative as well. The best part is we work as a family here.”

Aired every Saturday to Monday on SATV at 8pm, the playalso casts Shampa Reza, Rokeya Prachi, Shams Shuman, Ramiz Razu and others.
