Richi to play Rubi Roy
Popular television actress Richi Solaiman will be seen portraying Rubi Roy, the titular character from RD Burman's classic song “Mone Pore Ruby Roy”, in Eid
Popular television actress Richi Solaiman will be seen portraying Rubi Roy, the titular character from RD Burman's classic song “Mone Pore Ruby Roy”, in Eid special single-episode television play “Rubi Roy”.
The play is being directed by Shourjo Dipto Surjo who has also written the screenplay. Shooting is currently on in the capital's Uttara.

As a matter of fact, I was under tremendous pressure during Eid-ul-Fitr; that's why I am working selectively. I have weakness for the name Rubi Roy and I am working with great enthusiasm. I hope the audience will appreciate it.”
The play will air on ntv during Eid.
