From the shooting spot Zahid–Sarika in “Hridoy Rohossho”

Hasnahena shooting house was buzzing with activity on Sunday morning, being the site for Zahid Hasan's new TV play slated to be released during Eid Ul Azha. Titled “Hridoy Rohossho,” the story is scripted by Zakir Hossain Ujjol, and is based on a well known writer. Located in Gazipur, the sets depicted a rural background. Playing a dual role of the play's director and actor, Zahid Hasan will appear alongside Sarika.
Zahid was the first among the leading duo to arrive on set, and wasted no time in getting ready for the scene. While waiting for his co-star to arrive, the director cum actor studied his script by a tree. Once she arrived and was readied for filming, the director briefed her on the scene. Shooting then progressed without a hitch, and once it was over, the lead actors once more had to change their attires for the next one, which was to take place by a pond.
After one more take, the crew retired for their lunch break, during which the actors shared some of their thoughts and experiences on working together. “I'm working with Sarika after four years, and I am very pleased by her comeback,” said Zahid Hasan. Sarika also praised the director saying,
“He is not only known as a noted actor, but a refined director as well, and I feel honoured to have been given this opportunity.”
