Spelling Bee Season 4 into Quarterfinals

The quarterfinals of the 4th season of The Daily Star Spelling Bee: Enlightened by Summit premieres tonight on Channel i. Popular anchor Rumana Malik Munmun is compering the show, to be aired every Wednesday and Thursday at 7.50pm.

The TV round started with 96 spellers selected from a nationwide competition. From them, 32 spellers, two each from 16 preliminary episodes, qualified in the quarterfinal round.

A good number of quarterfinalist students are from Season 2 and 3, along with some new faces.

In quarterfinal episodes, four spellers will contend in spelling games: Spell It, Spell Hive, Spell Buzz and a new segment named Spell Ring.

During Preliminary round, a segment was held, called “Summit Salutes the Nation Builders”.
