Suzana back on the small screen

After a long sabbatical spent abroad, actress Suzana is back in the limelight in a new TV play set to release during Eid. Directed by Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi, the yet-to-be titled venture began filming last week in the capital.

Other cast members in the play include Shahiduzzaman Selim, Apurbo and Sumaiya Shimu. “I have returned to the screen after a long time, but I have worked with Fahmi in a few ventures before,” said Suzana, “I enjoy working under his direction and Fahmi is always able to bring the best out of his actors. He does not allow makeup on any of the cast members, which is a great convenience for us all.”

Suzana last appeared in a music video for a song titled “Keu Na Januk”. Composed by Imran, directed by Mizanur Rahman Aryan, and sung by Tahsan, the video proved to be a hit with viewers.

Off-screen, Suzana is exploring her entrepreneurial spirit. She has recently opened a new fashion boutique called Fashion Quest in the capital.
