Tareen-Apurbo spotted in Dinajpur

Tareen and Apurbo are noted television actors who are familiar faces in TV plays and tele-films. However, the pair has not worked together for over a year due to other pending projects, until now. 

The stars are set to appear in a TV play titled “Sunflower”, directed by Nazrul Islam Raju and scripted by Mezbah Uddin Shumon. Tareen plays a character named Joya, proprietor of “Sunflower Electronics” and Apurbo appears as her husband who returns from abroad. 

Shooting for the TV play began on September 18 at Paharpur, Dinajpur and is scheduled to wrap up by the end of the month. Regarding the new venture, Tareen shared, “I have worked in other TV plays directed by Nazrul Islam Raju before and his unit is extremely organised, but this particular one stirs up many memories as my father was an engineer, just like my character. Apurba and I have worked many times before, and I regard him as family.” 

Apurbo also shared his experiences working in the production thus far, saying, “Tareen is a powerful actor and I consider her as my mentor in the acting industry. I have been influenced by her since the start of her career, and am therefore indebted towards her for all that I have been taught. I am thrilled to be working with her again after such a long time.”
