Television treats on Nazrul Jayanti

On the occasion of Nazrul Jayanti, various television channels have come up with special programmes to celebrate the day. Following are some of the television shows the audience can enjoy today.

Maasranga Television: Mustafa Monwar’s puppet show Lichu Chor will be aired at 9 am. Musical show Ganey O Kobitaye Nazrul and discussion show Jatiya Kabi Nazrul will be aired at 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm respectively. Based on Kazi Nazrul Islam’s story, tele-fiction Rakkhushi, directed by Rusho Rakib, starring Shormi Mala, Nazira Mou and Shahadat among others, will be aired at 8:30 pm.

Meher Nigar

Channel i: Live musical show Gaane Gaane Shokal Shuru, featuring renowned Nazrul Sangeet singers, and live talk show Shorashori Nazrul will be aired at 7:30 am and 11:05 am respectively. Impress Telefilm’s Meher Nigar, directed by Moushumi and Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, starring Moushumi and Ferdous among others, will be aired at 1:05 pm. Musical show Nilambori Saree will be aired at 7:50 pm.

Kanka Comedy Hour

ATN Bangla: A special episode of Kanka Comedy Hour, directed by Syed Tariq and hosted by Shafiul Alam Babu and Tania Brishty, will be aired at 11 pm.
