What to watch on television this Eid, part 1

Hundreds of new television programmes come out during the Eid holidays every year. From the long list, it may be difficult to decide on shows that viewers can watch to completion. The Daily Star brings you a compilation of some of the finest television shows that will be aired on the top TV channels of the country throughout the festive season.

Celebrity Talk Show

Conceptualised, directed and hosted by popular singer Konal, the talk show, Shubho Purnima’r Kona, will be telecast on Channel i at 12 am, on chaad raat.

Eid Er Baajna Baaje Re

Cooking Show

ETV will air a week-long programme, titled, Celebrity Cooking Show, starting from the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr, at 6:20 pm. The show, hosted by Sharmin Lucky, will feature actors Ferdous, Toma Mirza and Siam Ahmed among others, as special guests.

Musical Show

Eid Er Baajna Baaje Re, featuring the renowned band, Feedback, and many other popular musicians, will be aired on ATN Bangla at 10:30 pm, on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Paye Paye Hariye

Telefilm

Paye Paye Hariye, starring Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Tahsan Khan among others, will be aired on BanglaVision at 2:10 pm on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr. Directed by Imraul Rafat, the telefilm is based on a story by  Masud Ul Hasan.

Miss Shiuly, starring Aupee Karim, Afran Nisho, Abul Hayat, Safa Kabir, Yash Rohan and Shilpi Sharkar Apu among others, will be aired on NTV at 2:30 pm on the third day of Eid-ul-Fitr. The telefilm is written and directed by Ashfaque Nipun.
