Zahid Hasan goes full throttle for Eid-ul Azha

After Eid ul Fitr, artistes are back on set to gear up for Eid ul-Azha ventures. Among the favourite faces on screen is Zahid Hasan, who will appear in a plethora of plays for everyone's entertainment.

The actor recently wrapped up shooting “Ramzan Bhai Public Figure”, written by Apel Mahmud and directed by Sheikh Selim. Cast in the titular role, Zahid Hassan will be seen swaggering around the streets of Dhaka with three loyal sidekicks. Tania Tushti is cast as the female lead. “Ramzan is nothing short of amazing,” said Zahid, “the play offers great entertainment, as well as a valuable message.”

Also an accomplished director, Zahid Hasan is helming a couple of plays this Eid. “Preparations are still underway, and we will begin filming soon,” he said.

Aside from short plays to be aired during the holidays, the actor is also directing, and starring in a few TV serials. “Raju 420” and “Vagabond” are two such ventures which have proved to be great hits. New series are in the works, and Zahid Hasan is currently directing “Don”, in which he plays the protagonist.
