Zahid Hasan in three ventures

Renowned actor Zahid Hasan is lauded for his versatility, and in recent months the actor-director has had a busy time directing, and acting in three drama serials. Two serials are already on air with “Raju 420” telecast on ATN Bangla and “Vagabond” aired on Banglavision.

The artiste is currently directing a third titled “Don”, for which shooting wrapped up recently in Nepal. On his new venture, Zahid Hasan stated, “'Don' combines incidents taking place in Nepal and Bangladesh, and I am playing the titular role. I know that viewers will greatly enjoy the narrative, which has many twists and turns.”

Zahid Hasan also dons the role of a shady yet well-meaning individual with a strong moral compass in “Raju 420”. “My character cheats criminals out of their money and distributes their wealth to the poor and needy. The story is very compelling,” he told The Daily Star.

Hasan plays a socially marginalised role in “Vagabond”, regarding which he stated, “My character, being a true vagabond, travels to far-flung places, and interesting incidents happen along the way.”

Despite being busy with various projects, the actor never fails to make appearances in special Eid TV plays, as well as directing his own. “Currently I am also making progress with new TV plays for Eid,” he informed.
