A team from Bangladesh has won a Bronze Medal and an Honourable Mention at the recently held 17th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) 2024. Tasdik Ahmed Tonmoy from Govt. Laboratory High School, Rajshahi, won the Bronze medal, and Labib Bin Azad from Notre Dame College won the Honourable Mention.

2 Bangladeshi robotics teams have won the Gold Medals at the World Science Environment and Engineering Competition (WSEEC) 2024, held in Indonesia. The competition was attended by 310 teams from 18 countries. 

Bangladeshi startup EdBridge Scholars has recently won second place at BobCat Ventures, a grant competition in the State of Maine, United States of America. The startup, founded by Tanvir Thamid, a student at Bates College, won USD 4,000 and professional mentor support for their second-place victory.
