Noted Gaudiya dancer Rachel Priyanka Perris developed a keen interest in dance from an early age. She met Mahua Mukherjee in 2004 at a 15-day dance workshop, where she was performing with the popular dance troupe Nrityanchal. The workshop changed her life forever, compelling her to choose Gaudiya Nritya professionally. Kakoli Dewan no more
Noted singer Kakoli Dewan passed away yesterday night in Dhaka. The artiste was admitted to Mugda Medical College and Hospital. She was suffering from chronic kidney complications for some time, and had also tested positive for Covid-19 in the last days of March this year, according to her son, beatboxer Moktadir Dewan.
