12 people held in Lalmonirhat while trying to enter India illegally

Members of Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained 12 Bangladeshis, including six teenagers, in Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat today while they were trying to enter India illegally.
A patrolling team of Dohogram BGB camp detained the 12 Bangladeshis from Dohogram border this evening, said Sumon Kumar Mohonto, officer-in-charge of Patgram Police Station.
They were trying to enter India illegally through Dohogram-Angarpota border with the help of a local broker, our Lalmonirhat correspondent reports quoting the OC.
Of the 12 detainees, six teenagers haling from Haripur of Thakurgaon, were handed over to their families, said the police official.
The other six were handed over to Patgram Police Station after a case was filed with the police station, added the OC.
They are: Asaduzzaman (21), Bisu Miah (20), Zafar Hossain ( 22), Tularam Barman (25), Amrita Roy (19) and Shakil Islam (20). They hail from different villages of Thakurgaon and Lalmonirhat districts.
