2 killed as bus hits motorcycle in Munshiganj

Two motorcyclists were killed after a bus hit their motorbike in Munshiganj's Louhajang upazila today.

The deceased were identified as Sujan Bagha (27), son of Sattar Bagha from Joynagar village of Shariatpur's Jajira upazila and Farman Ali (20), son of Qadir Hawladar from the same village. They were cousins.

Dewan Azad Hossain, station officer of Sreenagar Fire Service, said a Dhaka-bound bus of BRTC hit the motorcycle from opposite direction in Khanbari area around 12:30pm, leaving Sujan and Farman dead on the spot.

On information, members of Hasara Highway Police and Fire Service rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies, added Dewan Azad.
