Body recovered from construction site in Bagerhat

Police recovered the body of a man from a construction site in Sharankhola upazila of Bagerhat this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Sabuj Hossain Mridha, 30, a trolley driver of the construction project, reports our local correspondent quoting Md Saidur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sharankhola Police Station.

The body was recovered from the construction site of Coastal Embankment Improvement Project at Chaldanga village around 9:30am after locals saw it, the OC said.

The body had injury marks on the head and was sent to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for autopsy, the police official added.
