Md Abdur Rahim, officer-in-charge of Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station, has been transferred.

The police officer has been attached to the Rangpur range of police as per an order from the police headquarters last night.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Brahmanbaria Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Crime) Md Roish Uddin confirmed the development to The Daily Star this morning but he did not give any detail in this regard.
Rahim took charge of the police station on August 31 last year.
His transfer came a month after Hefajat-e-Islam activists carried out violence in Brahmanbaria on March 26 centring Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bangladesh.
