Cyclone Yaas: 3 times the usual number of shelters being prepared due to Covid-19

State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Mohammad Enamur Rahman revealed the development at an evening briefing in the conference room of the ministry.

The minister said that they are aiming to bring all the people in need of shelter to the cyclone centres in an attempt to keep the mortality rate zero if the cyclone hits Bangladesh.

Dr Enamur also said that the state of the cyclone would be clear after May 23, but everyone concerned has been instructed to take necessary preparations within this time.
