Deceased Parvin Akter, 23, who hailed from Kurigram district, was a worker of a factory in Shimultola area.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The incident occurred around 7:45am when a boundary wall collapsed on her while she was on her way to the factory, Tamim Hossen, a sub-inspector of Ashulia Police Station, told our Savar correspondent.
Critically injured Parvin was rushed to a local hospital where doctors declared her dead, the SI added.
Preparation of sending the body to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital is underway for autopsy.
