Land minister gets int’l recognition for land service digitalisation

World Book of Records, a UK-based organisation, yesterday honoured Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury for his matchless contribution to digitalising services and turning the ministry into a transparent and accountable public institution.

Chairman of World Book of Records Dr Diwakar Sukul joined a virtual ceremony from the UK and formally honoured Saifuzzaman Chowdhury.

The minister joined it from the conference room of the ministry at the Bangladesh secretariat.

Dr Diwakar Sukul informed the minister that his name has been listed in the record book of the organisation.

President of the organisation's Bangladesh chapter Raoman Smitha handed over the certificate of honour to the land minister.
