By-polls: AL announces candidates for 3 vacant seats

Awami League has announced candidates for the upcoming by-polls to three parliamentary constituencies -- Dhaka-14, Sylhet-3 and Cumilla-5.

Aga Khan Mintu has been named for Dhaka-14, Habibur Rahman for Sylhet-3 and Abul Hashem Khan for Cumilla-5, according to a press release.

The decision was taken at a meeting of AL parliamentary Board at Gono Bhaban today with the board president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

The by-polls have been scheduled for July 28.
