Son who carried oxygen cylinder on bike with ailing mother, tests Covid-19 positive

Ziaul Hasan of Jhalakathi, who carried an oxygen cylinder tied to his back while taking his Covid-19 infected mother to hospital on his motorcycle, has tested Covid-19 positive.
Ziaul Hasan himself confirmed the development to The Daily Star.
"I stayed in the hospital and at home with my mother. For this reason, I went to the Upazila Health Complex around 12:00pm today to get myself tested. After 10 minutes of giving my sample, they said I was Covid-19 positive," he said.
However, Ziaul is doing alright and is not showing any Covid-19 related symptoms, reports our Barishal correspondent.
Other family members, including his brother, had also undergone the Covid-19 test with him today and all of their results came negative.
Earlier yesterday, Ziaul on his Facebook post wrote "This is the best victory of my life" while taking his mother back home after she was treated for Covid-19 for six days at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
Ziaul on April 17, carried an oxygen cylinder -- tied to his back -- while taking his Covid-19 infected mother to hospital on his motorcycle.
A picture of the mother-son duo on their way to the hospital went viral on social medial on April 17.
"My mother's oxygen saturation level is 96 now which became 70 after she was infected with Covid-19," Ziaul said. He thanked the people of the country for praying for his mother.
