Stern action against those involved in anarchy: Law minister warns

Law Minister Anisul Huq today warned that the government will take stern action against those who will try to create anarchy, chaos and damage lives and properties of the people in the country.

"The people of the country gave their mandates to the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to discharge the responsibilities for serving them. If anyone makes any attempt to hamper discharging responsibilities, the government will take action in accordance with the law," he said.

He came up with the remarks while replying to queries from reporters after receiving second dose of Covid-19 vaccine at Armed Forces Medical College Hospital in the capital.

Mentioning that the government has capability to provide vaccines to all, the law minister requested everyone to receive vaccines saying that rapid surge of Covid-19 cases will be reduced if people receive vaccines.
