Strict lockdown again if health rules are not followed: Obaidul Quader

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said the government will be forced to impose strict lockdown again if people do not follow health guidelines once public transport services are resumed after ongoing lockdown ends.
He was speaking virtually from his residence at a relief distribution programme arranged by Relief and Social Welfare Subcommittee of Awami League at its Dhanmondi party office.
The minister called for strict adherence to safety rules in shopping malls, shops and markets.
He said strict action will be taken against those who commit irregularities in relief distribution and cash assistance from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He asked all to remain cautious so that the relief and cash assiatnce reach the right persons.
