Teenager murdered in Chattogram

A 16-year-old was hacked to death at Halishahar area of Chattogram city last night.

The deceased was identified as Md Kawsar (16), son of Md Kamal.

Some miscreants attacked Kawsar with a sharp weapon around 9:00pm yesterday, said Md Mubin, sub-inspector of Halishahar Police Station.

Kawsar was rushed to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital in critical condition where he died two hours later, the official said.

"A suspect named Shahid has been arrested in connection with the murder," Mubin added.
