Tree falls on locomotive in Moulvibazar; train delayed for an hour

A Sylhet-bound train from Dhaka got delayed for an hour after a tree fell on its locomotive in Lawachhara National Park area of Moulvibazar's Kamalganj upazila this afternoon.

A tree was uprooted and fell on UP 709 Parabat Express on Sylhet-Dhaka-Chattogram track at 12:05pm, our Moulvibazar correspondent reports quoting Bhanugachh Railway Station Master Kabir Ahmed.

On information, railway staffers and forest officials rushed to the spot and removed the tree, said a witness Saju Marchhiang.

The train left for its destination around 1:15pm, he said.
