Weeklong ‘strict lockdown’: All hospitals, institutions under Health Service Division to stay open

All hospitals, departments, offices, and institutions under the Health Service Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will remain open during the restrictions to be imposed from tomorrow (April 14) to April 21.

An office order was issued by Md Iqbal Hossain, deputy secretary of the ministry's Health Service Division this afternoon.

The development came in compliance with the directives issued by the government earlier on March 29 and April 12.

During the "strict lockdown", all officials and employees of the departments, offices and institutions under the division will remain at their respective work places and will discharge their duties properly following health guidelines, the office order cited.
