A foundation that provides essential training to those in need

Towhid Foundation, a Bangladeshi foundation located at Capital's Mirpur 1 area, is providing help and training to people in need free of charge.
The Towhid Foundation provides a suite of essential services designed to alleviate the struggles of the underprivileged. This includes physiotherapy, general medical services with a focus on eye surgeries (cataract) and lens replacement, ambulance services, bath and burial preparation for the deceased. The foundation provides training on computer basics, web designing, graphics designing, and sewing machines. They also have various language courses.
This Bangladeshi foundation operates without external donors, relying solely on the dedication and personal resources of its founder, Md. Towhidul Islam, according to his own words.
Md Towhidul Islam , "My mother died due to lung cancer in 1998. Right before her death, I saw the scarcity of good quality ambulances in Bangladesh. This motivated me to establish a free ambulance service for people which turned into this foundation eventually - a self-financed, non-political, and non-profit organisation".
