Community Bank signs 3-year deal with West Zone Power Distribution Company
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a three-year agreement with West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited to facilitate the collection of all categories of electricity bills across the company's western region.
Kimiwa Saddat, managing director (current charge) of the bank, and Md Azizur Rahman, general manager of the finance department at the power distribution company, signed the agreement at a ceremony held at Khulna Club recently, according to a press release.
Under the terms of the agreement, Community Bank has once again been entrusted with the responsibility of collecting both prepaid and postpaid electricity bills in the designated region for the next three years.
Md Abdul Khaleque, deputy general manager of finance at the power distribution company; Shahin Akter Pervin, superintendent engineer commercial; Ruhul Amin, executive engineer and company secretary; Mohammad Afser Hasan, manager accounts; Md Moktar Hassain, deputy manager of finance; Sazol Kumar Roy, assistant manager of accounts; Robiul Islam, assistant manager of accounts; and Hedayet Islam, assistant engineer of commercial; attended the event.
Md Ariful Islam, head of corporate banking and head of business (branch) of the bank; Md Mamun ur Rahman, head of ADC and head of MD's coordination team; and Md Roqonuzzaman, manager of Khulna branch, alongside other senior officials from both organisations.
