Community Bank gets ISO certification

Community Bank Bangladesh has attained an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certificate from Intertek Bangladesh on achieving United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) standard by adopting an information security management system. 

The system encompasses data centre operations and core banking services, supported by information and communication technology division, human resources and training, internal control and compliance, legal and general service division.

Masihul Huq Chowdhury, managing director of Community Bank, received the certificate from Shoriful Islam, head of business assurance of Intertek Bangladesh, in Dhaka on Sunday, said a press release.

SM Mainul Kabir, deputy managing director of the bank, and Farhad Ahmed, manager of system certification, were present.
