Bangladesh government is planning to modernise the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in order to curb corruption in the country.

It is planning to implement a web-based software for monitoring the activities of the commission, said the budget proposal for fiscal 2019-20.

Lodgement of complaint, investigation, filing and follow up of corruption cases will all be monitored through the central software, the proposal reads.

A total of 200 officers will be trained to use this software and ensure transparency and accountability of the work of the state-run anti-graft watchdog.
