GrameenPhone, the country’s leading telecom company, warns its subscribers of fraud calls.

GrameenPhone, the country's leading telecom company, has warned its subscribers of fraud calls.

The company sent a text message to its subscribers, forbidding them not to "open sms or call back to any missed calls with +881XX / +1XX prefix".

"These are known as satellite calls/fraud calls & charges are higher than usual," reads the SMS.
