Pension for all: Strategic paper presented to PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given instruction to the Finance Division to enact a law -- on an emergency basis -- for introducing pension for all citizens of the country.

As part of it, Abdur Rouf Talukder, senior secretary of Finance Division, made a presentation on the strategic paper of the overall pension system at Gono Bhaban in presence of the prime minister, according to a press release.

The strategic paper has been made in alignment with Awami League's election manifesto, the press release added.
