Chattogram stocks fall

Shares on the Chittagong Stock Exchange kept falling today despite a brief upward movement initially.

The CASPI, the all-share price index of the bourse in the port city, declined 73.57 points, or 0.4 per cent, to 17,957 at 12:30pm although the market had opened higher.

Out of 212 issues traded on the exchange, 45 were up, 139 were down and 28 did not see any price movement.
