Dhaka stocks open higher

Most shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened higher for the second consecutive trading day today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 34 points, or 0.55 per cent, to 6,209 at 12:25 pm. Turnover stood at Tk 570 crore.

Of the securities, 342 advanced, 42 declined and 97 did not show any price movement.
