Dhaka stocks open higher

Shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened higher today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 12 points, or 0.20 per cent, to 6,254 at 12:00pm. Turnover stood at Tk 452 crore.

Of the securities, 145 advanced, 129 declined and 99 did not show any price movement.
