DSE, CSE trade slightly up

The indices of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose slightly in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, added 3 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 6,365 at 11:28 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 391 crore.

Of the securities, 125 advanced, 56 declined and 161 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, inched up 9 points, or 0.05 per cent, to 18,794.

Of the issues, 55 rose, 36 retreated, and 43 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 4.8 crore at 11:30 am.
